Stewardship

Pastor James Amoh

Director, Stewardship

Stewardship is all about how we as humans take care of the resources God gives us. Wise use of what we have means that God’s work can flourish and more people can understand the Bible to find freedom, healing and hope in Jesus. The Stewardship Department helps train Adventist leaders and members around the world in biblical stewardship principles.

Stewardship is the lifestyle that accepts Christ‘s Lordship and recognizes God‘s sovereignty as Owner, Provider, and Sustainer. It is a Divine-Human partnership that is purposely intended to finish Christ’s final mission through a regular and systematic giving plan.

Our Vision

To PUT GOD FIRST, instead of PUTTING SELF FIRST. The Saviour mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, “Follow Me.”—The Ministry of Healing, 143. The GC ‘I Will Go’ theme for the quinquennium can rightly be realized when we follow Christ’s own method for soul winning.

This is the foundation for the developed strategies of the Stewardship Department.
